VIETNAM MEDIPHARM EXPO 2023

INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH

The International Medical, Hospital and Pharmaceutical Exhibition in Hochiminh City (Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2023) will officially take place over 3 days, from August 3rd to 5th, 2023, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) – 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Under the support and leadership of the Ministry of Health, the exhibition is a representative and comprehensive annual event in the field of Medical Equipment and Pharmaceuticals organized by VINEXAD (under the Ministry of Industry and Trade) in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association. Over the past two decades, it has built a reputable brand in the industry.

In 2023, Vietnam Medipharm Expo will welcome participation of more than 400 enterprises from 22 countries and territories, exhibit at 450 booths covering an area of 10,000 square meters. To promote effective trade promotion, the organizing committee has built specialized seminars, a business matching program connecting domestic and foreign enterprises and a special buyer program (Vips Buyer). The exhibition is expected to welcome around 10,000 visitors for business purposes.

The displayed products at the exhibition belong to 5 main sectors:

• Pharmaceuticals, functional foods, processing, and packaging machinery.
• Medical equipment and devices; Analysis, testing, and chemical equipment…
• Hospital services and furniture, Medical tourism, Medical software
• Dental and ophthalmic equipment.
• Cosmetics, aesthetics, and beauty equipment.

Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2023 will showcase the most advanced products and services of  major corporations and leading companies from many countries and territories such as India, the United Kingdom, Poland, Belgium, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, the United States, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Switzerland, Turkey, China, Australia, Italy, Laos and Vietnam. In particular, seven national pavilions from India, Taiwan (China), Russia, South Korea, Indonesia, Turkey, and China will be set up on a large and magnificent scale.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the latest medical technologies, breakthrough healthcare solutions, and reliable medical products. The exhibition not only showcases medical advancements but also provides opportunities for discussion, exchange of ideas, and networking with top healthcare experts and businesses.

The businesses will showcase a diverse range of products including functional foods, pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical processing raw materials, medical equipment, diagnostic tools, respiratory therapy machines, orthopedic devices, endoscopic surgical instruments, sterilization equipment, personal protective equipment, dental products, ophthalmology products, beauty products, etc.

This year, there is a special participation of reputable professional associations from many countries with developed medical industries such as Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (PHARMEXCIL), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI),  Ministry of Health of Indonesia (Indonesia), Government of St. Petersburg (Russia), Taiwan Medical Biotechnology Industry Association (TMBIA), Taiwan Biotech and Medical Care Association (TBMCA), and National Institute of Korean Medicine Development (NIKOM)…

Prominent activities within the framework of the exhibition.

The specialized seminars held during Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2023 provide an excellent opportunity for experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, and individuals interested in the healthcare field to interact, exchange information, and share the latest knowledge. The seminar program, organized by the Ministry of Health, associations, and enterprises, will take place throughout the 3-days exhibition. Of particular note are three seminars that are currently of great interest to businesses:

1. Seminar: “Policy updates on Management of Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals”. Time: from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on August 3^rd, 2023, at the Seminar Room on the 3rd floor – SECC
2. Seminar: “Opportunities for Indonesia-Vietnam Trade Development in the Medical Products Sector.” Time: from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on August 3rd, 2023, at the Seminar Room on the 3rd floor – SECC
3. Seminar: “Vietnam-India Pharmaceutical Business Forum.” Time: from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on August 3^rd, 2023, at the Seminar Room on the 3^rd floor – SECC.

Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2023, with the theme “International Integration for Community Health,” is expected to continue and contribute to the promotion of trade and the development of the medical and pharmaceutical market in Vietnam. The event aims to make Vietnam a leading destination and top choice for investors, as well as to support the implementation of strategies for healthcare and the improvement of public health.
